From Bedside Nurse to Integrative Health Advocate

I spent 11 years at the hospital bedside, caring for patients through their most vulnerable moments. I still draw on those experiences every day. It has taught me medical assessment, patient care, and advocacy. But there was a massive gap in my education that I didn't discover until my daughter's health crisis.

She'd struggled for years with a chronic digestive condition that kept getting worse despite following every recommendation from her pediatrician. We tried everything conventional medicine offered- medications, dietary restrictions, multiple specialists. She was losing weight instead of gaining it, living in constant discomfort, and I felt completely helpless watching her suffer.

The breaking point came during a particularly difficult ER visit. The treatment plan felt incomplete, and I realized the standard protocols weren't addressing what she really needed. That's when I knew: there had to be more to the story.

Out of desperation, I took her to a chiropractor. Within 24 hours, she experienced more relief than she had in years. That opened my eyes to approaches I'd never learned in nursing school - methods focused on supporting the body's natural healing instead of just managing symptoms.

I dove deep into learning about holistic health, gut healing, and functional nutrition. We made real food changes. Not just "eat more fiber" but actually healing her digestive system from the inside out. We eliminated hidden inflammatory foods. We focused on true nourishment.

Within months, my daughter was completely transformed. Growing, thriving, and free from the daily struggle that had consumed our family for years.

But here's what haunted me: As a nurse with over 11 years of experience and unlimited access to medical resources, it took me YEARS to find these answers. What about all the parents who don't have that background? Who don't know where else to look when standard treatments aren't working?

I realized I could bridge both worlds. I pursued training in nurse coaching and became Board Certified. I studied quantum nutrition testing, a powerful tool that helps identify what your body actually needs, not just guesswork.

**I'm not anti-medicine. I'm pro-solutions.

Conventional medicine is excellent for acute care, emergencies, and many conditions. I see its value every day. But when standard approaches aren't working, you deserve someone who knows how to look deeper and explore other evidence-based options.

My mission is simple: Help people find the answers they're desperately searching for by combining medical knowledge with holistic approaches. You don't have to choose one or the other, you can benefit from both.

I opened Majeski Empowered Wellness to be that bridge. Now I help families and individuals who feel stuck, frustrated, and unheard, just like I was. Because you deserve someone who understands both worlds and can help you find what actually works for YOU.
